Now for the fun parts. I know at my current school we do a lot of interesting things, like for example our rallies are pretty cool. With a new theme each time and a crazy dance pulled off by the teachers, I know our incoming 6th graders will be pleased, hopefully. Aside from my school in particular, we should focus on the big picture. Middle school can be a great life learning experience from meeting new people and having a great time through the roller coaster of emotions. Middle school contains a bunch of kids, in one place, everyday, who are all still learning about who they are as a person and what they want to do in life. So don't take offense if someone is rude to you, and don't over think it when a super cool nice person wants to be your friend. (I don't know, that sentence might have been weird, but hopefully you get what I mean.) Anyways, all I'm trying to say is have fun, make some memories, and enjoy life as it comes.

O' Piggy, My Piggy
I miss you much, although it was years ago, I still think of you during the days. O' Piggy, My Piggy We had great times together, you running around my room, then me trying to find you. O' Piggy, My Piggy I will never forget you. President Abraham Lincoln was the 16th P.O.T.U.S of The United States. On April 14th, 1865, President Lincoln was assassinated by John Wilkes Booth at Fordes Theatre. President Lincoln was in a cheerful mood that day, because the war had ended, and went to Fordes theatre with Mary Lincoln, Clara Harris, and Major Rathbone, to enjoy a play. Unfortunately, Booth had different ideas on how that day would go. While President Lincoln was watching the play, Booth had snuck into the Presidents box above the stage-that's where Lincoln was-and shot him in the head. In the end, President Abraham Lincoln died.
This whole catastrophe might not have happened if one simple event had changed. An event as small as someone tripping on a stone could have changed everything. I have a few theories to share today on: How could Lincoln's assassination been prevented? First, if slavery hadn't been an issue in the first place then war would not have occurred, thus preventing a particularly happy day. Second, if Booth hadn't been an actor he wouldn't have known his way around the theatre, which would create complications in his plan. Lastly, if President Lincoln had better security for himself, then it wouldn't have been as easy as it was to assassinate him. All in all, though, things happen for a reason; concluding that what would have happened in history if Lincoln hadn't been assassinated? How do I deal with change? Honestly, I'm a very adaptable person. When something in my life changes, I just go with the flow. Although this is true, I could still be sad at times. Change can be frightening. Some may want to run and hide from the world; while others-like me-adjust quickly. I do remember though, at one point in my life, I had to move to a different home, switch schools, and make new friends. All in one school year. It was scary for me at first because I didn't know anybody. At all. In the end though, I met amazing people who became amazing friends, and I was completely and utterly happy with my life. The point is, change may be scary at first, but great things can come from it.
